I know it's super dark, but Jordan and I hung out in Ohio City. At least you can see the clock tower for the West Side Market. Darn flash.

I went to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo today with my step-grandmother and we had a blast! They just opened the new elephant exhibit recently, and they had all of these little painted elephants everywhere like Cow Parade!!! Pink elephants on parade!

This is my step-grandmother and a little monkey statue! I thought it was super cute!

July Twenty First, Twenty Eleven

This is me carefully and lovingly cutting and placing thin foam strips into an antique frame to replace a piece of broken glass. This frame needed a piece of glass that is 5.75 x 7.75 inches, however they only sell 5x7 or 8x10 pieces that are pre-cut (and it didn't seem worth it to spend at least $35 on a small piece of custom glass when I spent about $5 on this solution).

July Twentieth, Twenty Eleven

I finally made it to Dallas, but I lost my phone somewhere in Atlanta, however I managed to get the body of my sweater done in the down time. Sleeves next! Somehow my dpns are MIA as well, perhaps a trip to a craft store as well as a new cell phone is in my future...

This amazing GIGANTIC parachute is my Mom's legacy, she made it when I was in elementary school!
Alcoholic whipped cream?! Perhaps I can convince Parth to find some for me for when I go to Dallas... Imagine the delicious ice cream topping possibilities!!!

That is all I have to say on this matter.

July Eighth, Twenty Eleven

I bought this orchid for Parth's Great Aunt since I was invited to dinner. I had so many knots in my stomach that I was barely able to eat. Parth assured me that I did fine, but I feel as though it was a blur.

This is the begining of the red sweater that I've wanted to make for a long time. I'm suddenly on a sweater kick so this is as good a time as any to make it! The yarn is much softer than it looks!

July Fourth, Twenty Eleven

I found one of my old double weaves from way back in CIA that I gave to my sister. It really reminds me of the insanity of weaving!

July Third, Twenty Eleven

I don't know why blogger turned these pictures, but I went to the Boston Mills Artfest today and I got this picture for Libby's birthday (it's next month).

I also bought these large photos from a very neat artist that takes these pictures on every New Year as part of a series since 2004. Parth may get cross with me for buying the second photo (he doesn't know that I did yet, but he will now), even though he said not to, but I'm not too worried about it. I liked the one on the right (bottom) and he liked the one on the left (top). They will look very nice with the awesome wine rack we'll have some day (he doesn't know that yet either).
