January Thirtieth, Twenty Twelve
I finished this hat today. Look, it has earflaps!!!
I made this hat today too, I think it needs a nice big pom-pom on top.

I went to the doctor's again today since I'm still coughing, and I left with 3 more prescriptions. Fun.

January Twenty Fourth, Twenty Twelve
I picked up the new Chinese New Year stamps today.
Another baby hat, this is going to be for a little twin girl. I'll get the other hat up as soon as I have it done.

January Twenty First, Twenty Twelve
I'm making the first of many baby hats. Boy, there are many babies happening in my life right now. Is someone trying to tell me something?

So I emptied the can recycling bag yesterday because it was overflowing and all of the extra cans covered pretty much the entire counter. I cleaned it all up (and please remember that I do not drink soda) and took the bag to the garage. I did not however replace the bag that I took out, so my roommate's solution is to just put all of today's cans on the counter instead of putting in a new bag.

January Nineteenth, Twenty Twelve
Today's Chinese Dragon.
I knit my Mom a shell top out of this yarn this past year, then she requested some flowers out of the same yarn to go with it. Before I could make said flowers she decided she wanted to knit a hat from the yarn that was left. I took the yarn and the knitting needles to Ohio over Christmas, ended up having to make the hat myself anyway. I did not inform her that there was any yarn left, but I decided I would surprise her with two different flower pins for her birthday that she can put on whatever she wants. Now I only have about a yard of the yarn left, and I would like to believe that I am DONE with it.

I bought these coloring books from the professional development I had to go to today. I went to this author's talk and he autographed them for me! All in all the professional developments were pretty good this year compared to some of the previous years.

My trunk is full of goodies for the Santa Shop for next year. I totally scored a 7 foot tree for $12 (including tax) to put the TONS of ornaments on next year! It's going to be so great, even if I'm not there!

I pulled a muscle in my back yesterday and working out today did not help so now I'm adding heat. Ouch!

Some very complicated hair for a second grader today, but I guess that is what you get when you do a self portrait.

So I bought more yarn today, but it really wasn't my fault! The pink and white squares that I had been making for Patti's baby won't work anymore since we recently found out she is having a boy. So I took Patti yarn shopping and this is what she picked out instead. Oh well, someone who is worth the time and effort for the pink and white squares will have a girl eventually.
