I'd decided to take up quilting, and this is my first-ever quilt block. I'm not sure what made me decide it was a good idea, but I cut out 96 triangles for the front, 8 large triangles and 2 rectangles for the back. Maybe the sound of my scissors on fabric is what is so appealing to me, or the pounding of the sewing machine. We'll see how it goes!

I put up netting to divide the porch: Most of it for me (so I don't have to keep scrubbing it) and about a foot for the pigeons so they can hatch their eggs. I think it's more then fair.

Great Mail Day! I got my passport in the mail and the picture I bought at the Boston Mills Artfest today!

I promptly put my passport in my passport wallet (I knew where it was, aren't you impressed?) so I'm ready to flee the county at a moment's notice.
