I'd decided to take up quilting, and this is my first-ever quilt block. I'm not sure what made me decide it was a good idea, but I cut out 96 triangles for the front, 8 large triangles and 2 rectangles for the back. Maybe the sound of my scissors on fabric is what is so appealing to me, or the pounding of the sewing machine. We'll see how it goes!
