October Thirty First, Twenty Ten

Happy Halloween!

These are the strange things I saw on my way back from Joshua Tree National Park today. (I saw them on the way there too, but I didn't stop to take pictures until today.)

Maybe I should stop to pick up a few good men! (In case you can't read the sign it's pointing to the Marine Base a few miles away.)

No it's not snow, I think it's Chloride on the ground because I passed the National Chloride Company. Is that safe?

A Shoe Tree?

Ghost Train? (I know it's not, but I thought it was fun to see a train.)
